Google has launched its own-brand smartphone - the Google Pixel

The Pixel is powered by Android 7.1 Nougat.

The selling feature is the Google Assistant, formerly known as Google Now. Activated by either a long press on the home button or by saying "OK, Google", Assistant can perform quick tasks such as setting timers, sending messages and playing music, fire up searches and other standard virtual-assistant functions, but it is also the most personal Google assistant to date.
