Chherki Mahal , Chaura In Kabir Dham , Kawardha This temple is also situated in Shankari-Cherki basin at village Chaura (ancient Chawarapur) near the Mandawa Mahal. The temple is made of brick with plaster. The Cherki Mahal is smaller in size in comparison to those of Bhoramdeo temple and Madwa Mahal. The brick structured temple is 0.5 km away from Madwa Mahal having the main entrance in the east. Nagwamshi emperor had built this Mahal or temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in the 14th century.

Sorar and Karkabhat Monument In Durg
Sorar and Karkabhat Monument In Durg This extensive site is located in an area of about 10 sq. km. encompassing the villages of Kannewada, Sorar, Nahanda and Karkabhat. Karkabhat is located 16 from Balod on Balod-Dhamtari Road. It is spread on both sides of the road. Several megalithic types are present here. Menhirs of different sizes and shapes are still lying in finished and unfinished conditions. According to Dr. A.K. Sharma an estimated 3500 to 4000 megalithic burials must have been present in this complex. Majority of them are, however, wiped out.

Kailash Gufa In Jagdalpur , Bastar The Kailash Gufa is situated on a small hillock and looks similar to the Kutumsar Caves. A 100 meters long cave, it is also pitch dark and has a narrow entrance. Discovered in 1993, the cave houses stalactites and stalagmites galore. There is a special stalagmite formation which can be seen at the end of the cave in the shape of a Shivlinga. The reverberations caused here are strangely musical.With torch lights and a guide along with you on your expedition, experience all the thrill of exploring these amazing caves.
