Rani Ka Talab In Ambala, Haryana Rani Ka Talab is one of the historic testimonies, of the town built by Raja Ranjit Singh of Chhachhrauli. The 400 year old pond is positioned within Ambala Cantonment. and is currently under the authority of Indian Army. Pandoh Dam In Mandi, Himachal Pradesh The Pandoh Dam is an embankment dam on the Beas River in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Under the Beas Project, the dam was completed in 1977 and its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation. Part of a run-of-the-river power scheme, it diverts the waters of the Beas to the southwest through a 38 km (24 mi) long system of tunnels and channels. The water is used for power generation at the Dehar Power House before being discharged into the Sutlej River, connecting both rivers. The power house has an installed capacity of 990 MW.

Pandoh Lake In Mandi, Himachal Pradesh Pandoh Dam is situated in Mandi district and created by Pandoh Dam. The lake is the reservoir of the dam which has been targeted at the generation of hydroelectric generation. The lake diverts the water from River Beas and pours it into the River Satluj. The dam is under Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) and the road built over the dam is a part of NH 21. The Beas water is diverted and through tunnels taken to Salapad (around 40 km from here)where water is used to generate electricity along with the water of Satluj.

Badkhal Lake In Faridabad, Haryana Badkhal Lake was located in Badkhal village, 8 km from Delhi Border. The lake fringed by Aravalli hills was a man-made embankment. Owing to unchecked mining in the neighbouring Aravallis, the lake has totally dried up. There are functional Haryana Tourism restaurants in the vicinity. A flower show is held every spring here. Its name is most probably derived from the Persian word bedakhal, which means free from interference. Close to Badhkal Lake, is the Peacock Lake, which is another picturesque spot.
