Coming under Dantewada district, Lankapalli waterfall is on the way from Jagdalpur to NH-16. 33 kms. away from Bijapur is Aawapalli, again 10 kms. away from there is Ilmidi and 3 kms. away from Ilmidi is a small village named ‘Lankapalli’. As the name, Lankapalli itself suggests a place similar to Lanka in Bastar. Just 1 km away from village Lankapalli is—‘beautiful enchanting wonderful waterfall consisting of 7 kunds’.

The waterfall consists of sever kundas and is formed by river Chintavagu. The waterfall falls from a height of 100 feet. The waterfall can be visited in the rainy seasons and winters. It is named after the river Lankapalli.

This waterfall is formed by river Chintavagu, a tributary of Godavari river. This 7 kunds waterfall falls from a height of 150-180 ft. and a small kund is formed at every 20-25 ft.

The best time to visit this waterfall is during October-February.
