Kartik Aaryan, who is currently basking in the success of “Satyaprem Ki Katha,” hasn’t had much time to relish it as he has already dived into his next project, “Chandu Champion.” This upcoming film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Kabir Khan. It reportedly revolves around the inspiring life of real-life paralympic champion Murlikant Petkar, and filming began last month.

Taking to Twitter, the actor recently shared the first look of the film, expressing his pride in playing a real hero. His tweet read, “When INDIA is written on your chest, it’s a DIFFERENT feeling. Proud to be playing a Real Hero. A Man Who Refuses To Give Up #ChanduChampion #FirstLook.” The picture showcases Kartik wearing a white shirt, a black and white tie, and a black blazer with the word “military” on it. His cropped hair and visible bruises on his face add depth to the character. The first schedule of the film has been completed, and the team is now gearing up to shoot in the UK for the next few months.

According to a close source to Kartik, the role of Chandu Champion is the most challenging character he has portrayed to date, and he is putting every effort to make it a memorable performance. Fans can look forward to the film’s release in July next year.
