Gadar 2 Box Office: Sunny Deol Collects Rs 508 Crore in 31 Days, Nearing All-Time Grosser Status

The highly anticipated film Gadar 2 is making waves at the box office in India. Directed by Anil Sharma and starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, the film has collected an impressive Rs 508.25 crore in just 31 days. It is just a few crores away from surpassing the all-time Hindi cinema record holders, Baahubali 2 and Pathaan, which collected Rs 510.56 crore and Rs 512.76 crore respectively. Once Gadar 2 surpasses the collections of Bahubali 2 and Pathaan, it will become the only franchise in the history of Hindi cinema to have a 100 percent track record of emerging as an All-Time Grosser. The film has faced tough competition, including a clash with Oh My God 2 and competition from Dream Girl 2 and Jawan in later weeks. However, Gadar 2 has managed to withstand the competition and attract audiences even in its fifth weekend, collecting Rs 3.45 crore. The film is expected to reach Rs 515 crore by the end of its run in Hindi.

However, Gadar 2’s reign at the top spot will be short-lived as the upcoming film Jawan, led by Shah Rukh Khan, is expected to surpass the collections of Bahubali 2, Pathaan, and Gadar 2 in the next 15 days. Jawan has the potential to set new benchmarks at the box office and may become the first ever Hindi film to earn Rs 550 crore.

Despite the upcoming competition, Gadar 2 is considered a historic blockbuster and one of the biggest blockbusters of the last 20 years in terms of return on investment. The film’s performance is at an unprecedented level, making it an ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER. With little competition in the coming week, Gadar 2 has a chance to score a sixth weekend similar to the fifth one and achieve the milestone of crossing the Rs 515 crore mark.
