Luv Sinha Prioritizes Quality Over Quantity in Choice of Roles, Excited About Gadar 2 Appearance
Luv Sinha, a versatile figure as an actor and politician, believes in the significance of quality in his roles. While some might find his decision to take on a small role in the upcoming film Gadar 2 surprising, Luv sees it as a dream come true to be part of Anil Sharma’s project alongside Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he shares his perspective on his family’s initial concerns about his limited screen time in the film.
Luv portrays the character Fareed in Gadar 2, a sequel to the iconic Gadar. Though his role is not extensive, Luv values the opportunity to be part of such a significant film and to work with Anil Sharma and Sunny Deol. Despite not being the lead, he appreciates the chance to contribute to a film of this stature.
Contrary to popular belief, Luv reveals that he secured the role based on his own merit rather than a recommendation from Sunny Deol. He emphasizes that there’s nothing wrong with approaching filmmakers for roles, as it’s a part of the profession. Luv’s family initially had reservations about his role in Gadar 2 due to its brevity. However, Luv discussed his decision with his family, stressing his admiration for the film and his desire to work with legends like Sunny Deol and Amitabh Bachchan.
Working with Sunny Deol has been an enriching experience for Luv, who describes the senior actor as warm, kind, and genuinely supportive on set. Luv’s character Fareed faces challenges that threaten his family, and while parallels might be drawn with the Sinha family’s experiences in the real world, Luv doesn’t take social media seriously and remains unperturbed by online discussions.
Luv also expresses his thoughts on the changing dynamics of the film industry, where social media influencers and TikTok artists are cast in roles. He believes that there are talented actors from theater who deserve opportunities in the industry. Luv’s upcoming projects include working with his father, Shatrughan Sinha, in a web series called “Gangster.”
As a politician, actor, and dutiful son, Luv acknowledges the challenges of juggling various responsibilities. He appreciates the support of his family and strives to make a mark in the industry on his own terms. Gadar 2 is set to release on August 11.
