Producers have reportedly encountered payment issues with Sunny Leone and Ameesha Patel, with amounts totaling Rs 21 lakh and Rs 1.2 crore, respectively. They were expected to attend a meeting with the arbitration tribunal of the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) on July 25, 2023, regarding the non-payment of dues. However, both individuals failed to attend the meeting, prompting the President of the IMPPA to issue a notice regarding their absence.

Haresh Patel from M/s AD Films and Vinod Bachchan from M/s Soundarya Productions filed complaints against Ameesha and Sunny, respectively.

The IMPPA has decided to take stern action against the two actresses, instructing them to settle the entire debt owed to the respective producers within 7 days of the meeting. Failure to comply will result in consequences. On the professional front, Ameesha Patel will appear in ‘Gadar 2’ alongside Sunny Deol, reprising her role as Sakeena. Sunny Leone, on the other hand, was last seen in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Kennedy’ and has upcoming projects such as ‘Rangeela’ and ‘Veeramadevi’.
