The Show and Its Headlines

The popular youth-based reality show Roadies: Karm Ya Kand has been in the news since the beginning. The makers of the show recently introduced Rhea Chakraborty as one of the gang leaders, marking her first project after the demise of her ex-boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput. Another major point of interest has been the apparent beef between gang leaders Prince Narula and Gautam Gulati. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Prince shared his perspective on the controversy and more.

Yuvika Chaudhary’s Reaction

When asked about his wife Yuvika Chaudhary’s reaction to the controversy, Prince responded, “Kuch nahi, woh bahot chill rehti hai. Mai bhi chill rehta hu” (Nothing, she is quite chill about this and so am I). He further expressed his gratitude for the love and support he receives from his fans, some of whom have gone to the extent of tattooing his name and face on their bodies. Prince emphasized that he values the support of those who know him well and understand his perspective.

Prince Narula’s Interview

Prince’s Video and Decision

Addressing the video in which Prince called Gautam “fake” and subsequently deleted it, Prince explained, “Yes, I posted the video and then thought to myself why do I have to do things that I shouldn’t? I felt I shouldn’t be so affected. It was after his third interview that I posted that video. But then I thought, when I meet him next, how can I complain about the same thing that we both were doing and thus I deleted the video”.

The Beginning of the Feud

Prince Narula is a familiar face on the show, having been a gang leader in previous seasons. Rhea Chakraborty and Gautam Gulati are the new additions to the show. Both Prince and Gautam have previously won different seasons of Bigg Boss, creating an underlying competition between them. Gautam revealed in an interview that he initially decided to leave the show, but with the intervention of Salman Khan, the host, both Prince and Gautam were advised to reconcile and continue on the show. This did not sit well with Prince, as he felt that Gautam was trying to tarnish his name with PR tactics. The tension escalated in one of the episodes when Prince confronted Gautam, but Sonu Sood intervened and urged both of them to focus on the present rather than dwelling on the past.
