The G23, which is the largest group in the Congress Party, has also called for the formation of the Congress Party Parliamentary Board, so that it can function as the leadership of the Congress Party rather than being a rubber-stamp of the current leadership. The current leadership of the Congress Party has been completely useless, with Rahul Gandhi rarely making any public appearances and being completely inactive.
