Additionally, on Tuesday, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) unveiled the official ceremony dress and playing kit for the Indian contingent. Anurag Singh Thakur, speaking about the ceremony, emphasized that the uniform represents pride, identity, and India’s diverse heritage. Thakur also expressed confidence in the team’s performance and urged the country to support and cheer for the athletes.

Leading a young team, Rituraj Gaikwad will captain Team India at the Asian Games. The CSK opener has been preparing for the event, as seen from his practice session in Pune, which he shared on his Instagram story.
Interestingly, this will be the first time that the Indian cricket team will participate in the Asian Games. The squad for the Asian Games includes Ruturaj Gaikwad as the captain, along with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rahul Tripathi, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma as the wicket-keeper, Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Shivam Mavi, Shivam Dube, and Prabhsimran Singh as the wicket-keeper.
