Rajyogini Dadi Janki
India Post released a commemorative postage stamp in denomination of 5 Rs. and a sheetlet (12 stamps) on Rajyogini Dadi Janki on 12th April 2021.Vice President of India M.V.Naidu released the stamp at New Delhi.Rajyogini Dadi Janki was the Administrative representing Head of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Godly Spiritual University. Dadi was born in 1916 in Sindh ( now in Pakistan). From her earliest days, a concern for the well-being of others was a driving force in her life.
Her childhood memories include travelling around on her father’s horse and carriage to explain others, the benefits of a vegetarian diet, and sitting with the sick and elderly to help lift their spirits. She spent only three years in formal education and then went on many pilgrimages in her search for truth and the understanding of God. Dadi Janki joined Yagya (institution) at an age of 21, at its very beginning (around 1937) with a great faith in God and in his Yagya (his task). Dadi joined the group of 180 who came to Karachi, Pakistan for living the new spiritual essenceful life. This group devoted their time to intense spiritual endeavour. In August 2007, Dadi Janki took responsibility of the whole Yagya. Even at an age of 103 (last days of life), Dadi served not with the body, but with good wishes and vibrations. Dadi’s early life and spiritual life, both were full of sacrifice and service to the world.

Apr 12, 2021: VP releases commemorative postage stamp in memory of former Chief of Brahma Kumaris Rajyogini Dadi Janki
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today released a commemorative postage stamp in the memory of former Chief of Brahma Kumaris Rajyogini Dadi Janki in New Delhi today. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naidu said, what makes Brahma Kumaris so special is that the organization is led by women. He said they have demonstrated that spiritual attainments transcend gender-based distinction. The Vice President said, society needs to be educated on equal rights to women in every field, not merely in the letter, but in spirit, as well. He said spirituality is the basis of all religions and the same spiritual thread binds them together. Mr Naidu said we should draw inspiration from Dadi Janki’s life which was dedicated to God and to the selfless service of humanity. Communications and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was also present on the occasion.
