Rode was born on August 14, 1977, in New Delhi. He studied at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, and Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. After graduating, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.
Rode made his television debut in 2000 with the show Jahan Pyaar Mile on Zee TV. He then went on to play supporting roles in shows such as Rishtey, Apna Apna Style, and Thriller at 10. In 2002, he made his Bollywood debut with the film Annarth.
