Recently unveiled by Amazfit, the Bip 5 smartwatch has made its way to the Indian market. Boasting an expansive 1.91” rectangular display and an impressive battery life of up to 10 days, this affordable smartwatch is set to be available for purchase on August 31 via Amazon India.

Priced at ₹7,500, the watch includes a choice of silicone wrist straps: Soft Black, Cream White, and Pastel Pink. While the watch body’s front remains black, the sides align with the selected band color. Notably, Amazon holds the exclusive selling rights for the Bip 5 model.

Delving into its specifications, the 1.91” LCD screen features a resolution of 320 x 380 pixels, protected by tempered glass with an anti-fingerprint coating. Running on Zepp OS 2.0, the smartwatch facilitates app notifications and provides control over the phone’s music player and camera. The OS supports the installation of mini apps and even simple games.

Equipped with a microphone and loudspeaker, the Bip 5 offers Bluetooth phone calling capabilities. These components also serve the built-in Amazon Alexa voice assistant feature.

The watch integrates a BioTracker 3 biometric sensor, enabling 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood-oxygen tracking, stress assessment, and sleep monitoring. For fitness enthusiasts, the watch incorporates a GPS receiver compatible with GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and QZSS systems.

The integrated loudspeaker adds functionality during exercise sessions, as it can audibly relay key metrics, eliminating the need for constant glances at the watch. The Virtual Pacer feature encourages users to adjust their pace to meet their desired targets. Sharing fitness progress is made seamless through compatibility with Strava, adidas Running, komoot, and Relieve, in addition to Apple Health and Google Fit integration.

With an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, the Bip 5 measures 45.94 x 38.09 x 11.2mm and weighs 26g without the strap.

The built-in 300mAh battery promises a remarkable battery life of up to 10 days for average usage and up to 5 days for heavier users. In battery saver mode, it can extend to an impressive 26 days. Charging the watch to full capacity takes approximately 2 hours.
