Introducing Ring One: A Smart Ring with Advanced Health Tracking and On-the-Go Payments
Tech start-up Muse Wearables has developed an innovative smart ring called Ring One. This smart ring offers a range of features, including advanced health tracking, contactless payments, and cuff-less blood pressure measurements. The Ring One is scheduled for a global launch on September 27, 2023, with its release in India planned for October 25, 2023. Muse Wearables has partnered with contract manufacturers in Chennai to set up manufacturing lines for the Ring One, which is currently in production.
The chief technology officer of Muse Wearables, George Francis, explains that Ring One has the ability to measure six vital signs: heart rate, blood oxygen, temperature, respiratory rate, heart rate variability, and blood pressure. This comprehensive health tracking capability sets the Ring One apart from other wearable devices.
Achievement of Muse Wearables
Muse Wearables was founded by graduates of prestigious Indian institutes, including IIT-Madras and NIT Warangal. This tech start-up, based in Bengaluru, has its registered offices in Chennai, Singapore, and the United States. Born out of the incubation cell at IIT-Madras, Muse Wearables is making significant strides in the technology and healthcare sectors.
Production and Manufacturing
